Indictment dismissed in tax fraud case

On September 21, 2022, the U.S. Attorney’s Office dismissed an indictment that charged our client with willfully failing to account for and pay over to the IRS payroll taxes owed by an LLC.  Ron Hoevet and Megan McVicar presented a PowerPoint to the prosecutors that demonstrated our client was not responsible.  Client had been facing a sentence of up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
